• BLACK BEAN CHIPOTLE

Inspired by the southwest, these vegan patties pack a piquant punch with black beans, fresh jalapeño, fresh scallions, sweet onion, chipotle pepper, pumpkin seeds, grains, and southwestern spices.

PREPARATION TIPS

PAN FRY

Pan fry on medium heat with your favorite oil*. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes to achieve a dark golden color and crunchy bite.

*We recommend using grape seed, canola, or peanut oil, for these have a higher smoking point.

GRILL

First rub patty with your favorite oil, and then place on grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes without moving, and then flip and cook the other side.

BAKE

To bake, preheat oven to 425 degrees. Rub patty with your favorite oil, and then bake for 10 minutes on each side.

WHAT’S IN YOUR FRIDGE?

MUNSTER AVOCADO

Mash an avocado and sprinkle with cumin, lime, and salt.  Add tomatoes, munster cheese, and sprouts.  Classic.

POBLANO POWER

Stir some roasted poblano peppers and chopped cilantro into your favorite store-bought mayo. Top with some grilled red onion, tomato, arugula, and aged white cheddar.

FOCACCIA FLAVOR

Southwest meets Mediterranean. Instead of a bun, try fresh focaccia bread with basil pesto, roasted red peppers, and pepper jack cheese.
